TechEat Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed for users visiting and interacting with the techeat.it website ("the Site"), in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 ("GDPR") and applicable Italian data protection laws. 1. Data Controller The Data Controller for personal information collected through this Site is Enrico Casetta, acting as the individual responsible for the TechEat project. Purposes and Legal Basis for Processing Data collected via the registration form (Name and Email) is processed for the following purposes: a) Sending communications regarding the TechEat project: This includes project development updates, educational content (food science insights), and promotional offers, such as exclusive discounts for early subscribers. Legal basis: user consent (Art. 6, par. 1, point (a), GDPR), provided at the time of registration via the designated consent box. b) Registration form security: Data entered into the form is protected by Google’s reCAPTCHA service to prevent automated submissions (spam/bots). Legal basis: the Controller's legitimate interest in ensuring the Site’s security and proper functionality (Art. 6, par. 1, point (f), GDPR). Data collected via cookies and the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) is processed for statistical analysis and advertising remarketing, as described in the "Cookies and Tracking Technologies" section. 4. Processing Methods and Location Data processing is carried out using computer and/or telecommunications tools, with organizational procedures strictly related to the stated purposes. The Site is built and managed via the Wix.com platform, which provides hosting services and automated email communication management. 5. Data Recipients and Third-Party Services Personal data may be processed by the following service providers, who act as data processors or independent controllers for their respective platforms: - Wix.com Ltd. — Platform used for Site hosting and automated email delivery.
